Free LGBT+ History Month assembly and resources for secondary schools
Published: January 22, 2025
Just Like Us has launched brand new, free resources for secondary schools including an assembly and posters, for LGBT+ History Month.
The LGBT+ History Month assembly for secondary schools focuses on LGBT+ change makers, past and present, who have stood up for the LGBT+ community in the face of adversity. The assembly also asks pupils to consider how they can be change makers themselves.
Free posters highlighting LGBT+ change makers are also available, as well as posters featuring messages of inclusion and allyship.

Other LGBT+ History Month resources available on Just Like Us’ school resource portal include another assembly on key moments and figures from the history of LGBT+ rights in the UK.
