At Just Like Us, we provide primary and secondary schools with free LGBT+ inclusive, educational resources.

We know teachers want to do the best they can to ensure every pupil feels welcome and safe when they walk through the doors. Our resource library is filled with reading lists, LGBT+ awareness day calendars, inclusive posters, form-time activities, and much more, to make it easier for teachers to make their schools more LGBT+ inclusive.

  • Our independent research has found that positive messaging about LGBT+ identities in schools is linked to improved mental health for all pupils, while a 2021 study revealed that a lack of LGBT+ inclusion in schools negatively impacted attendance

  • Creating an LGBT+ inclusive classroom environment can help pupils feel safe and celebrated in their school community, and fostering a culture of belonging where every pupil and family can see themselves reflected in what they learn at school

What is the resource library?

More than 14,000 teachers across the UK use our digital resource library, containing hundreds of LGBT+ inclusive resources for EYFS to KS5 such as lesson plans, assemblies, circle and form time activities, posters, and videos, all available to download for free.
