Are you an LGBT+ young adult looking for a meaningful way to volunteer in Glasgow? Just Like Us, the LGBT+ young people’s charity, is thrilled to announce a fantastic volunteering opportunity for LGBT+ individuals aged 18 to 25.

If you’re interested in knowing more, please sign up. You’ll then receive details about volunteer training to speak in schools and inspire the next generation with your story.

Join the Ambassador Programme

Our Ambassador Programme is at the heart of what we do. As an ambassador, you’ll receive comprehensive training to prepare you to deliver powerful talks and workshops in schools.

You’ll share your experiences, break down stereotypes, and foster a more inclusive environment for LGBT+ pupils in schools.

This is a unique opportunity to make new friends, learn new skills, build your confidence, and make a real impact.

Volunteer in Glasgow this 28 and 29 September

We’re excited to partner with TIE (Time for Inclusive Education), a leading Scottish LGBT charity, to bring you this training event.

Volunteer training will take place on 28-29 September in Glasgow. Over these two days, you’ll participate in interactive sessions, meet fellow volunteers, and learn everything you need to know to become an effective ambassador.

Volunteering with Just Like Us is more than just an opportunity to give back – it’s a chance to be part of a movement for positive change.

“I love the idea that I might be helping a young LGBT+ person feel more comfortable about themself but I also love that it feels like a healing experience for me. I never got to have these kind of talks in schools and I know that it would’ve changed my life, so to be able to do that for someone else makes me feel like I am doing something important for the younger version of myself.”

A Just Like Us ambassador

If you’re between 18 and 25, identify as LGBT+, and are passionate about making a difference, we want you on our team. Sign up today and start your journey as an ambassador with Just Like Us.

Let’s work together to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for LGBT+ young people.
