It’s never OK to out someone – download our free School Diversity Week posters

Just Like Us

Published: April 20, 2023

It’s never OK to out someone and being LGBT+ is something to be celebrated – both key messages in our new, free poster pack for schools.

The free posters are available from Just Like Us, the LGBT+ young people’s charity, when teachers sign up for School Diversity Week (taking place 26-30 June).

We also have a bilingual Welsh and English version of the posters so that all schools in Wales can celebrate too.

There are also posters included in the pack with quotes on diversity and inclusion from LGBT+ faith leaders, helping schools with faith communities create conversations about allyship.

The posters are suitable for both primary and secondary schools.

How to download the free LGBT+ posters for schools

Sign up now for School Diversity Week and you’ll get access to all of our free school resources, celebrating diversity.

It’s never OK to out someone

The free posters can be displayed in schools all-year round as a visible sign of support for LGBT+ pupils as well as pupils from diverse families. For example, some pupils have lesbians mums or two dads.

The posters include messages such as:

  • Being LGBT+ is something to be celebrated
  • It’s never OK to out someone
  • Life would be boring if we were all the same
  • Be yourself, it’s your superpower
  • Every family is different, every family is special

Celebrate Pride with our free posters

Take part in School Diversity Week and you’ll get access to many free, ready-to-go educational resources.

The free School Diversity Week resources include subject-specific lesson plans from maths to geography, posters, assemblies, form time and circle time activities, videos and more.
